SNF: Green Bay at Philadelphia
Best Pick: Philadelphia Eagles -6.5
Best Props: Miles Sanders anytime TD +100; Aaron Rodgers over 0.5 INTs thrown +120
Green Bay’s offense has been lackluster most of the season. The Eagles have been getting gashed in the run game the past 2 weeks, but Green Bay’s rush defense hasn’t been much better this season. Remember a couple weeks back I gave out the Tennessee +3 based off the run game. Hurts and Sanders should have themselves a day on the ground.
The Eagles have a clear advantage at home ATS this season. The Eagles come into the matchup 4-1 ATS at home with that 1 loss being against the Washington Commanders. This is the Eagles first home game since the loss. The Eagles are inducting Trent Cole & Hugh Douglas into the Eagles Hall of Fame tonight, and the Eagles will be wearing all black tonight. In short, the vibes will be very high.
The Eagles past three games have been hairy, and the run game has been a shell of itself. This is a great spot for the Eagles to get it going on the ground with Green Bay giving up an average of 135.8 yards per game. The Eagles offensive line will be licking their chops to get back to blocking downhill. The Eagles offensive line is one of the best, most athletic in the run game, especially when the Eagles open up the rush package.
Green Bay’s pass defense is formidable. The key for Green Bay to win tonight is to get Philadelphia in a lot of 3rd and longs, and force the pass. Look for Aaron Jones & AJ Dillion to get a lot of work on Green Bay’s offense. Philadelphia has had trouble on the ground as of late, but this will be the second week of play for Ndamukong Suh and Linval Joseph.
Rodgers has found a new safety valve in Christian Watson. The Eagles passing defense has been great this season, and will pose a tough challenge for Rodgers and the rookie.
The Eagles have the best turnover differential in the league, and they have feasted at home so far this season with a +1.8 turnover margin at home. The Eagle have at least 1 interception in all 4 of their games at home.
