Is Joe Thomas Salty That the Browns Haven’t Asked Him to Coach?

This morning on Good Morning Football, Joe Thomas went off on the Colts hiring Saturday as the new head coach.

“It was the most egregious thing I can ever remember happening in the NFL, and I went 1-31 in my last two years in the NFL!”

Thomas came out on fire this morning about the Colts hiring Saturday. Thomas described the hiring as one of the most disrespect things to the commitment and lifestyle of an NFL coach he’s ever seen. Joe knows a thing or two about head coaches:

• Romeo Cernell

• Eric Mangini

• Rob Chudzinski

• Hue Jackson

• Freddie Kitchens

All head coaches that Thomas had the opportunity to play for.

For some reason throughout the rant, Thomas kept going back to kids. Head coaches not being able to see their kids, him not wanting to coach because he wants to see his kids, him hanging out in France with his kids.

Don’t get me wrong. The hiring of Jeff Saturday was unusual, unorthodox, you name it.

In Joe’s rant, you can clearly hear he’s upset with the decision. Maybe he’s not so upset that Saturday got a head coaching job, but more upset that the Cleveland Browns haven’t offered Thomas a head coaching gig.
