TNF Match Up: Baltimore Ravens at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Best Pick: Baltimore Ravens -1.5

Typically when picking games in the NFL, my very first thought is to take the team getting points. I mean, its the NFL… the 53 players on both sides are the best of the best, why not take the points Vegas is handing out? Especially with Brady at the helm.

Look for Mark Andrews to have a solid come back game this week after posting goose eggs against the Browns.

Tampa Bay is coming into this matchup 0-5 ATS, while the Ravens are coming into the matchup 0-3-1 in their last 4 games ATS, that push being against the powerhouse Buffalo Bills. Although the Ravens haven’t been good ATS, they’re coming off of a gutsy home win against division rival Cleveland Browns. The RB carousel continues with the Ravens, but there are 2 things for sure in Baltimore: Lamar Jackson and Mark Andrews. Although listed as questionable ESPN states that Andrews’ lack of activity during Monday’s practice is most likely rep management before a quick turnaround. Coming off of a no show against the Browns, look for Andrews to come back and make a statement at Raymond James Stadium. With the AFC North being up for grabs, this is a game Baltimore would love to put into the W column.

While it is always difficult to bet against Brady, the Bucs are showing us week in and week out that there is not much improvement happening in Tampa. Tampa is coming off a terrible showing in Carolina where Tampa wasn’t in scoring position until the 4th quarter. Some may be chalking it up to Carolina rallying around each other after losing CMC and Robbie Anderson, but it seems as though this is the real 2022-23 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The missed TD by Mike Evans on the wide open pass from Brady epitomizes Tampa’s season in one play. XFL start PJ Walker and D’Onta Foreman were a handful last week for the Buccaneers. Their matchup this week should be a much taller task against and explosive Baltimore offense.
